Manchester Orchestra just put on one of the greatest rock performances in recent memory. They headlined Sunday night at Express Live for CD 102.5’s Holiday Show Side B. A sold-out house eagerly awaited the soon to be legend’s to take the stage. An indie rock band from Atlanta was an underground favorite for years. Thanks to the widespread love and critical acclaim of their album, A Black Mile to the Surface and their hit song “The Gold” they have skyrocketed into the mainstream. Their place in the spotlight is well deserved. These guys know how to put on a spectacular show. They played through some of my personal favorite tracks including “Shake it Out” and “The Grocery” to an ecstatic crowd.
